Liverpool Chamber Holds Its AGM

Today the chamber held its AGM.
Members unanimously voted in David Wade Smith as Chair, Ed Oliver as Vice Chair and Sara Wilde as Deputy vice chair.
Sara is MD of the Daily Post & Echo Group and has previously been a member of the board. She is also chair of Merseywaterfront, an organisation with responsibility for 100km of the coast line in the Merseyside area.
In CEO’s report, Jack announced that membership had increased by 13%, against a national fall in membership this is a achievement and a measure of success of Liverpool Chamber.
Tonight Chris King, Wirral Chamber’s Crime Reduction Manager will be on Radio Merseyside’s Drive time slot at 5.30pm. He will be discussing his work in partnership with Liverpool Chamber’s Business Crime Direct Team and the successful crime reduction measures on the Wirral especially in the Hoylake area in preparation for the Open golf tournament.
