Mobile Phone

Liverpool was today revealed as the mobile phone capital of the country. Research by the London School of Economics, and reported in the Daily Post, shows that Liverpool residents make more calls than anyone else and are the second biggets texters in the country.

One in ten has also suffered the theft of a mobile phone, compared to the national average of 9%.

Laszlo Toth, a trade and Investment Assistant in Budapest is visiting Liverpool Chamber of Commerce today. Laszlo has worked in the Budapest Embassy for two years and is responsible for the Water, Environment Tourism & Cultural Heritage sectors.

Laszlo conducts market research and compiles market information reports for British Companies.

He has met with the International Trade Department staff, with the International Trade Advisors in Greater Merseyside and he is meeting with Dantec Ltd from the Wirral this afternoon.

Also visting Liverpool Chamber today is Davis Frost, Chief Executive of the British Chambers of Commerce. He is meeting with Jack and catching up on our latest developments, such as Tender Alert and our growing membership (up 13%).
