2007 Starts With A Bang (Eventually)

In other news, the postponed New Year’s Eve fireworks display will now take place on Friday  January. It is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm.

This will mean some disruption to traffic in the city centre. William Brown Street will be closed from 8am on Thursday, 4th January until 8am on Saturday, 6th January, 2007; on Friday, 5th January, London Road westbound, (from Norton Street to Commutation Row), Lord Nelson Street, (from Lime Street to Lime Street station access road), Lime Street, (between St George’s Place and Commutation Row), Commutation Row, Fraser Street, Camden Street, and Churchill Way North and South, will be closed from 6.45pm to 9pm.
