Business Crime Direct Target Shoplifters
Liverpool Chamber’s very own crime-fighters, Business Crime Direct (BCD), are having a direct impact on business crime figures in the city centre.
In a news story released today, latest figures show that shoplifting offences are down by 10% overall, and during the Christmas 2006 period were down by a massive 21% on the previous year.
These figures are due to BCD’s ‘Crime Alert’ initiative. This links city centre retailers through a radio network and regular intelligence updates.
