LiveOne20, the lifestyle card for Liverpool businesses and their employees, has been officially launched at a glittering ceremony in the city centre.

VIP guests attending last night’s event at the city’s Newz Bar were greeted by a samba band, magicians, regular prize draws and were treated to specially-created LiveOne20-themed cocktails.

They heard Chamber chief executive Jack Stopforth and Carl Speight, commercial director of lifestyle scheme provider Livesmart, describe some of the fantastic benefits which cardholders will be able to receive from some of Liverpool’s biggest names in dining, leisure, travel, entertainment and retail.

For the past few weeks, principal contacts at Chamber member companies have been able to use their joint membership and LiveOne20 cards to receive a preview of an exclusive package which could save cardholders up to £800 a year.

From this morning, staff of firms which have purchased additional cards for little cost can also use their cards to claim big discounts from a range of commercial partners right the city, including the likes of the Radisson SAS Hotel, Merseytravel, FACT, Voodou, Greens Health and Fitness and a host of bars and restaurants such as Newz Bar, Pan Am, Sapporo Teppanyaki and the London Carriage Works.
