Travel News - James St Closure and West Coast Rail Travel
As you will be aware the Loop Line in Liverpool is currently under blockade with the work scheduled to be completed on 28 May. Once these works are complete a start will be made on the James Street interchange. The link below outlines the arrangements that will be put in place for the period of the works.
It does mean that traffic will not be able to use James Street whilst travelling towards the Pier Head and coming from the Strand corridor. There is already a ‘Bus lane’ restriction for turning into James Street. These arrangements affect many bus services that normally use James Street including the services that link to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (48A & 500)
