Businesses in the region have just two weeks remaining to enter into the prestigious Merseyside Innovation Awards.

“Offering a first prize of £14,000 - including £10,000 in cash, the awards recognise and reward the use of innovation as a means of boosting growth and profitability,” said Chair of the judging panel and awards founder, Brian McCann.

“We know that leaders of fast growing, innovation led businesses tend to be time poor and deadline driven,” added Brian.

“For this reason, there is always a rush of entries as the deadline nears and early indications suggest this year is to be no different. The sponsors always have a tough task in identifying the shortlist of finalists and I would urge companies considering entering not to leave it until the last minute.”

Sponsored by seventeen Merseyside organisations including BBC Radio Merseyside and Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the final is to take place on Thursday 5 July at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
