A COMPANY working in the field of nano-technology has been named as the annual winner of the Merseyside Innovation Awards.
Iota NanoSolutions beat off strong competition from The Gravity Cue, Burley Doors and The Medical Device Innovation to win the accolade.
The judges were particularly impressed with the firm’s relationship with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine for the development of anti-malarial treatments.
It was the second award in the space of a few days for Iota. It was also named NorthWest Regional Development Agency Science and Technology Business of the Year at the Daily Post Regional Business Awards.
