We’ve been alerted to the fact that some of our website visitors, when visiting our ‘news’ page, are getting the following pop-up message:

“This web site wants to run the following add-on: ‘Microsoft Data Access - Remote Data Services Dat…’ from ‘Microsoft Corporation’. If you trust the web site and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here…”

We believe that this is a malicious piece of software, attempting to insert a virus into your computer / system.

Do not run this add-on. Simply ignore the message.

We have alerted our website company and are doing all we can to rectify the problem.

This only appears to be showing up in Internet Explorer 7, although it may show up in earlier versions too. Firefox and Opera operating systems appear to block it automatically.
