We are looking for:

A Policy Officer -  to provide policy expertise to Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, its members and partners on issues that may affect the business community and the region’s competitiveness. Salary £23,000 pa, full time.

A Policy Administrator & PA - who should be a self motivated, pro-active administrator with proven experience and excellent communication skills. Salary £13,284 pa, full time.

Liverpool Chamber would like to congratulate Jim Gill on his appointment as the first CEO for Liverpool’s new economic development company

The current chief executive of Liverpool Vision has been named as the person to lead the new economic development company for Liverpool.

Jim Gill will be responsible for plotting the direction of the new company which is being created from the merger of Liverpool Vision, BusinessLiverpool and Liverpool Land Development Company.

Jim, who was awarded the OBE for services to regeneration in 2006, is already working hard on pulling together the three agencies in time for the launch of the new company on April 1st.

Since 2001 he has led Liverpool Vision, the UK’s first Urban Regeneration Company, which has driven and overseen the massive redevelopment of Liverpool city centre, including that of the historic waterfront.
