Reduce Costs, Congestion and Carbon Emissions
A Networking Seminar

Friday 7th March 2008

Hosted by Liverpool Chamber of Commerce
With NBTN and ACT Travelwise

To raise awareness of the benefits travel plans can have on local businesses and the environment, the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a seminar which will be held on Friday 7th March 2008 from 9am at Number One Old Hall St, Liverpool, L3 9HG

In collaboration with the Department for Transport’s National Business Travel Network (NBTN) and ACT Travelwise, this seminar will demonstrate how sustainable travel can benefit a business and demonstrate corporate social and environmental responsibility to stakeholders at all levels.

Workplace travel plans can help companies to reduce CO2 emissions in a cost effective way. Travel plans can also help companies to save money, attract and retain staff and improve reputation, as case studies show.

It can be difficult to identify and implement the right travel plan which will work best for your business. At this event there will be an opportunity to learn more about best practice at national, regional and local levels through expert advice, business testimonies and local case studies and to find out about the options available to cut emissions and make cost savings.

  • Local case studies and relevant information.
  • You will have an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with other businesses.
