Realising Your Business Potential

The Promoting Tender Opportunities programme is available to businesses that have been trading for less than 3 years and live in Merseyside.

This ESF funded project will provide free training and support to new businesses with the aim that they will have the necessary entrepreneurial skills and business knowledge to successfully bid for a variety of tender opportunities.

The Workshop on the 27TH June will cover:

. Finding tender opportunities
. Pre-qualification questionnaires
. Benefits for small businesses supplying the public sector
. The advantage to the public sector of dealing with small businesses
. Getting that much needed first experience
. Case studies - tenders won and lost

Expert Speakers

We will be joined on the day by two expert speakers who will be able to address your questions and further explore how your organisation can tender and work with the public sector.

Naomi Thomas,  Purchasing Executive, ACC Liverpool
Naomi’s experience of procurement roles in both public and private sector is wide ranging and she has recently joined ACC Liverpool to support the sustainable procurement strategy for the Liverpool Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre.

Naomi is keen to share her experience of small business tendering with delegates and answer any questions relating to tendering and purchasing.

Andrew Taujanskas, Managing Director, OciusB2
OciusB2 deliver Broadband and IT technology solutions with supporting consultancy and training. For several years now OciusB2 have been tendering successfully to win work in Education, Local Authority and a wide cross section of public sector organisations.
