Last night Liverpool Chamber was at the Daily Post Regional Business Awards, where we were one of the sponsors of this prestigious event. It was hosted by famous Liverpool Institute, old boy, Peter Sissons and we enjoyed an impassioned speech by key note speaker, the music mogul, Pete Waterman.

Chamber members made a good account of themselves in the awards; with New Mind winning Small Business of the year; Croda taking the award for Corporate Social Responsibility; T J Morris winning Investment of the Year; Rensburg Sheppards won the Cultural Engagement award and the Duke of Westminster was presented with the Business Person of the year award for his work bringing the Liverpool One development into fruition.

A special mention goes to the puddings that managed to be both rich and tasty and feature the city’s iconic skyline. Nom!
