The tourist team at the Liverpool Culture Company are looking for local businesses who are willing to offer cruise ship passengers special deals:
“Would anyone be interested in offering something for cruise foot passengers on visits to Liverpool? We have the Maasdam coming in this weekend (Saturday 26 July) and we want try to put together a single sheet of special offers for cruise visitors who are exploring the area under their own steam - the idea being that they would call into your venue and present their boarding pass as proof of ID to take up the offer.
“If anyone has any offers they would like us to put on the sheet, please provide us with full details of your offer asap, including a contact number that cruise passengers can call on the day if they wish to get further information. Please bear in mind that space may be limited (although we won’t know for sure until we have an idea of how many offers there will be).
“Also, if you have a special event taking place specifically on Saturday 26 July please let us know and we can let passengers know about it (but please not events that have been going on for a while because we already have leaflets for those).”
So, get in touch and you could see significant increases in business from the foot passengers.
