Mathew Street Music Festival is here again, taking over Liverpool city centre for a long weekend of rock and roll ribaldry.

There will be six stages across town presenting a broad spectrum of music. From 60s classics to Chas n Dave via a Smiths tribute band, I kid you not. There is also the Mathew Street Fringe, featuring original bands performing indoors.

For full listings for Sunday’s and Monday’s performances, plus all other relevant info, visit the official Mathew Street Music Festival website. Or you can read a comprehensive round up of the weekend’s activities over on the Art in Liverpool blog.

Don’t forget to stand on the Ley Line that runs down Mathew Street.
