Calling all Green Heroes
The Northwest Business Environment Awards 2009

Celebrating its seventh year of recognising the crème-de-la-crème of this region’s environmentally-aware businesses, the Northwest Business Environment Awards (NWBEA) 2009 is once again on the search for the region’s green business heroes.

The event is a celebration of businesses who are putting the environment at the heart of their company’s success. The finest environmentally-conscious businesses, both large and small, across all sectors in Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire are invited to submit an application to the 2009 awards.

Entry to the Northwest Business Environment Awards 2009 is free, via a simple application form, that can be downloaded from http://www.merseybasin.org.uk.

Businesses of all shapes and sizes are invited to enter the 2009 awards in more than five different categories that include the Built Environment, Best Environmental Practice, Sustainable Procurement and Environmental Champions.

The closing date for entries is 2nd February, 2009. Alternatively you can nominate a business supplier or client from the region that you believe should be considered an Environmental Champion.

The NWBEA 2009 winners will be announced at a prize-giving ceremony to take place in summer 2009.
