valatech-chamber-iconMerseyside company Valatech Ltd have started 2009 preparing for what they anticipate will be a period of growth and sustainability despite the backdrop of the current economic downturn.

Located in Bromborough, Wirral, Valatech Ltd was founded in September 2002 as a premier supplier of PC’s, peripherals and technology based products for home and business use.  They recently participated as a beneficiary on the successful Harnessing Digital Technologies project, a joint partnership between Liverpool Chamber and Merit North West.

In place is a strategic growth business plan which will involve shifting the focus of the core business activities towards e-commerce, a plan which has already quietly commenced.  In place already are two websites in a soft launch phase.

PC One Stop Shop is a website which prides itself on being the UK’s largest e-tailer of computer & IT related products with over 200,000 products for sale (www.pconestopshop.com)

A Security One Stop Shop is the second website.  By July 2009, Valatech Ltd will become the UK’s largest e-tailer of security related products with over 200,000 products for sale (www.asecurityonestopshop.com).

Merseyside job centre has indicated that Valatech are one of a very few companies hiring new staff in the current employment market.  The number of employees in the organisation has quadrupled in the last ten months.

Further e-commerce development is on the agenda for later on in the year.
