New Series of Free Workshops Launched By Stepclever

stepclever_business A series of free workshops to aid businesses in North Liverpool to win new contracts is being rolled out by Stepclever, in partnership with the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.

The free events are designed to help businesses to improve their chance of winning contracts in both the public and private sectors.

The Stepclever initiative is offered by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Liverpool City Council and Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council.

Businesses in the wards of Anfield, Everton, County, Kirkdale, Linacre and Derby can receive support from Stepclever.

The new workshops are ideal for businesses looking to secure public or private sector contracts, and will equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and skills to compete for new deals.

The workshops are as follows:

Sourcing & Identifying Bid & Tender Opportunities
22 April 2009
An opportunity to aid guests to develop a winning mentality, identify sources for bid and tender opportunities, highlight common pitfalls, assess known competition and decide whether or not to bid.

Expressions of Interest and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
29 April 2009
An opportunity for delegates to develop expressions of interest, understand PQQs and admittance to approved supplier lists, how to respond to the PQQ, understand the value of developing a strong business
relationship with clients.

Successful Tender Submission and Management
6 May 2009
This workshop will aid companies to decide whether or not to bid, pricing considerations, e-capability, contractual issues, bid planning, bid submissions, bid follow-up. Also there is a marketing tools & presentation skills session built into the programme which will ‘arm’ businesses with all the right bullets.

Understanding Business Finance
14 May 2009
This session will focus on understanding the finances of delegates’ businesses. This programme introduces attendees not only to the documentation and how to analyse it but also how to look at the key business ratios that affect that information, and what external users see when they look at financials.

The workshops will be held at Breckfield & North Everton Neighbourhood Council, Breckfield Centre, Breckfield Road North, Liverpool L5 4QT
