Take Part In It’s a Knockout For Charity

With the support of Mossley Hills Athletics Club, LCVS is organising an It’s a Knock Out Competition.  The aim of this event is to get local companies and individuals involved in helping local charities and voluntary organisations raise funds for their valuable work.  It’s a Knock Out is:

  • Inclusive and cohesive event allowing all sorts of people to take part in a fun event together.
  • Run by professional company. See www.itsaknockout.com
  • 10 per team - adults or children (minimum height 1 metre) (but not in mixed teams).
  • Cost (max) £450 per team - confirmation of entry required by 28th May 2009 with a £100 deposit.
  • Select those to benefit - either own voluntary organisation, or any other charity, or a combination.
  • Organisation’s nominated beneficiaries retain all income raised in excess of entry fee.
  • Prize for the overall winning team and the team raising the most (decided 21 days after the event).

Attached is information and an application pack for the event.  Please forward to anyone you feel might want to get involved.  The more the merrier, however get in quick because teams are going fast!
