The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) is looking for businesses within the network who have Defined Benefit schemes and who struggle with the PPF levy payment.
This could because of its size, the uncertainty, the methodology used or another issue. For those businesses who we have spoken to so far, this is a real issue and one that threatens, not only the pensions schemes, but in some cases the viability of the businesses themselves.
In order for the BCC to do something about this effectively, it’s vital that they get the views of local companies.
