Leaf Tea Shop and Bar, 27 Parliament Street, Liverpool L8 5RN

LJMU’s Start-Up Network invites you to the first in a series of events designed to help you win more business.

For our first event, we’re taking a more light-hearted approach to the art of business networking.  Joining us will be Karl Kirkpatrick and Gary Skyner of Positive Pointers. Karl and Gary have each overcome different challenges in life and have now joined forces to create a humorous, powerful and worthwhile business message.

Using his life experiences as a former bank manager and Rugby League referee, Karl talks with humour about business life and has some great tips on how to network successfully.

Gary was the second born thalidomide victim in the UK. He is a victim of the biggest medical disaster in history and still fights for justice for the 450 victims.  Every day is a challenge for Gary as he goes about his daily life and his talk includes a very powerful motivational and inspiring message which can be transported into everyday business life.

Karl and Gary will share their methods to make your business networking more successful and rewarding.

So join us on the 10th November for a networking event with a difference.

This event is free to attend but registration is essential as places are limited.

To register, please contact Dominique Aspey in LJMU’s Business Development Centre on 0151-231 8062 or d.aspey@ljmu.ac.uk
