Business Development Manager

Salary range for the post is £32,000 to £38,000 dependent on skills and experience.

Inclusive Access UK Ltd was formed in 1998 as the W.I.R.E.D. trading arm and is a leading social business providing advice, consultancy and training in a range of areas.  We have recently become an accredited learning centre for City & Guilds Qualifications and are expanding our workforce to take full advantage of this exciting development.

Key Tasks

To spearhead the development of the company.

To bring in new business and achieve revenue and profit goals.

Day to Day Tasks

Business Development

• To generate income from a wide variety of sources including, commercial clients, project opportunities, etc
• Identifying new strands of business to widen scope of works for company in line with company ethos
• Network and identify client targets and convert leads into business

Operations

• Day to day development, marketing and operation of the business
• Leading and managing staff and sub contractors
• Set and work towards revenue goals
• Legal and compliance issues of all aspects of running a business
• Reporting monthly to Chief Executive of parent company
• Reporting bi monthly to Board of Directors, preparing Board papers
• Representing the business at events as required
• Liaising with Deputy Chief Executive on all HR and H&S Issues
Financial Management

• To liaise with the finance team and independent auditors in the production of monthly management accounts
• To manage and be accountable for the accuracy of financial reporting for the business to the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive of Wired
• To ensure all required monitoring of funding is produced to deadlines
• To draft and manage annual budgets
Other Duties

To carry out any other duties as may be required from time to time in line with salary and position
