This is your chance to celebrate the start of the 2010 World Cup and help the men’s Charity CALM. 

Get your team together and get yourselves a table before it all kicks off on Thursday 10th June.

Metquarter in conjunction with CALM, is hosting a charity event with a difference - they’ll be 32 teams playing table football battling it out for a host of prizes. 

All you need to do is round up your colleagues and £30 to secure your table!  The only question is, which country will you be representing?

Bring out your competative side (and your female counterparts) and enjoy the beautiful game, refreshments courtesy of Revolution = and substitute your usual evening for one of the finest brands in one Premiership place; Metquarter - it’s in a different league.

Liverpool Chamber’s Apprentices Of The Week

turtoringAn apprentice can make a real difference to a company. They can solve your staffing problems and bring new skills and ideas on board.

We have many years’ experience of matching businesses with the right apprentice. With this in mind, we’d like to highlight some of the young people we are working with at the moment:

Nicky, 17 – Admin
Nicky has excellent communication skills and would work very well in a team.  She has good time management skills and makes a point of never being late.  Nicky is highly motivated and posses excellent IT skills.  She is very friendly and would be an asset to any company.

Daniel, 17 – IT
Daniel is a hardworking young man with excellent IT skills.  He enjoys problem solving and works well under pressure.  Daniel has good communication skills and would be a great team member.

Play A Round For Clatterbridge Cancer Research

clatterbridge_logoClatterbridge Cancer Research (CCR) is holding its annual Spring Golf Day at Caldy Golf Club, Wirral on 27 May 2010 to help raise funds for cancer research in Merseyside and Cheshire.

The charity are currently recruiting teams to play in this prestigious event. 

For an opportunity to play golf, network and enjoy a great evening of entertainment, golfers are encouraged to round up friends, family and colleagues to form teams of four. 

golfer_clattEntry costs £360 per team, which works out at £90 per person and includes lunch and a celebratory prize-giving dinner.

This year players will also have the chance to win a spectacular golfing holiday in Andalucía, Spain, which has been kindly donated by Andalucía Marketing UK Ltd. A charity raffle will be held to round the event off. Non-playing guests are also welcome to attend this event for £25 a ticket.

Caldy Golf Club is situated on the estuary of the river Dee and the course straddles the Wirral Way. It enjoys breathtaking views of the North Wales mountains and a rural outlook to farmland and dales to the South, and is a former venue of the Seniors’ Championship.
