The University of Liverpool’s Enterprise Champions Project has a new series of free business start-up events taking place over the summer.

Self Employment Workshops take place on June 22, July 13, July 27, August 10 and September 7.

In addition, a Business Start-up Bootcamp will be held over the weekend of July 19-20, with a second Bootcamp over the weekend of September 12-13.

A Business Ideas Generation event will also take place on September 10 2012.

These events are for students or graduates living in the Merseyside area only; they are not open to all members of the public. Individuals will ideally be looking to start up a business in the Northwest of England.

Hard Days Night Hotel has appointed Nicola Rowlands Communications and Prominent Profile to handle their PR.

The duo of companies, led by Nicola Rowlands and Geniene Reese, won the twelve-month account following a three-way competitive pitch.

They will now handle the hotel’s media enquiries from all over the world, and promote the brand’s extensive offering.
