Export Documentation: Procedures and Payments

UKTILiverpool Chamber of Commerce in partnership with UKTI are hosting a course focusing on export documentation.

Export Documentation: Procedures and Payments is designed for those who have to produce or check the procedures and documentation associated with international trade in exporting companies. It is recommended for personnel in sales, logistics and accounts as well as SME owner managers.

The seminar will go through the process involved when dealing with export documentation step-by-step so you can learn how to complete the relevant documentation and learn where to go if you need further support.  You will also complete practical exercises to learn how to get it right, increase efficiency and reduce the likelihood of delays.

The topics covered will include shipping contract terms; export documentation – commercial, transport, legal and customs; cargo insurance; export licensing; and exchange rate protection.

The speaker will be Tony Brown, who has many years of practical experience working in international trade in both private and public sector environments. Mr. Brown currently works as an International Trade Advisor for ChamberLink in Manchester.

Export Documentation: Procedures and Payments will be held on Tuesday, July 3 2012 from 09.30 to 16.00 at the first floor Board Room at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Number One Old Hall Street, Liverpool L3 9HG. It is a one day course, which costs £100 + VAT for members and £150 + VAT for non-members. Delegates are welcome to bring along any documents that they have queries about for some face-to-face advice.
