Driving business forward in tough economic times - Survive and Prosper
Tuesday, 8 March 2011, 7.30 - 9.30am, Liverpool Hope University EDEN building, Childwall
Are you worried about how you are going to survive amidst the doom and gloom of coalition cuts and a lack of funding support? Then you should be at Hope’s Business Breakfast!
Liverpool Hope University are inviting you to attend the first of a series of Business Breakfast Networking events on Tuesday, 8th March 2011 at the new EDEN building in Childwall.
This first event will be addressed by two key note speakers:
- Professor Steven Broomhead, who will be talking about how businesses survive in tough times. He is the new Chair of Entrepreneurship and Education Studies in the Business School since recently retiring from the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
- Ken Pye, University Director of Professional Education, who will also give a short talk – “Fuelling the Renaissance”. You may well recall Ken from his days at Common Purpose.
Dr. Martin Carey Chief Executive of Hope Business Gateway said that “It is even more important while times are tough, to bring together dynamic business men and women to share their ideas to help strengthen their own business and revitalise the local economy. This is what the business breakfast is all about.”
The event will run from 7.30a.m. – 9.30a.m. and will include a buffet breakfast. The cost for the event will be £20 per person.
Places at the event are limited. To book your place or for further details please email Hope Business Gateway’s Becky Hoare at hoareb@hope.ac.uk or give her a call on 0151 291 3005 by Monday 28th February 2011
